What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

Ang Mo Kio Flora and Landscape (Ang Mo Kio)
Fairly good general selection of plants and gardening supplies; the only place I know that has a consistent supply of coarse gardening sand.

Bedok Garden and Landscape (Bedok)
Part of the FEF retail chain

Corona Florist and Nursery (Clementi/Upper Bukit Timah)
Good selection of quality pots, especially really large ones.

Far East Flora@HortPark (Alexandra)
The smallest of the FEF outlets. Nevertheless, still a great browse after walking through HortPark and being inspired by the plants there.

Far East Flora@Ridout Tea Garden (Queensway)
I like this outlet best among the FEF outlets. It's less crowded than the Thomson Road main outlet, but still has a good range. And has lots and lots of (paid) parking.

Far East Flora@Thomson (Thomson)
The biggest, and original, FEF outlet. Has the most of everything, with a large cut flowers section. Free parking, but be prepared to cruise around for parks, especially on a weekend.

Goodwood Florist (Thomson)
Originally a large, independent nursery in Singapore, but had been bought over by Far East Flora. So now, has similar look/feel as the other FEF outlets, although the last time I was there, they seem to showcase more garden furniture, DIY ponds/fountains type stuff. Same parking problem as FEF@Thomson.

Hawaii Landscape (Thomson)
A good plant selection, but not much in terms of gardening equipment and supplies. Probably due to the proximity of FEF outlets next to it. Has a large selection of grafted multi-coloured bougainvilleas.

* I am not sponsored by, nor do I endorse, any company. I only post nurseries that I have visited, or bought stuff from, and my views are my own opinions. I am making this list only because I have hunted for things over the years, and it's taken time and energy to do so. I hope having this list would help others who have just started out in gardening, or are looking for specific items/types of nurseries. Please add comments, if you have additional/updated information.

** Unless mentioned otherwise, all the nurseries mentioned above have their own (limited) on-site parking.
